After a heart scan showed plaque buildup, I went to Nutritional Weight & Wellness for a consultation. Wendy’s knowledge and RN background impressed me. She is down to earth and answered all my questions. Eating real foods is easy no matter what your budget is. No more headaches, swollen hands or afternoon energy slumps. I know I can eat this way for the rest of my life and will be healthier for it.

Wendy brings over 35 years of health care experience to Nutritional Weight & Wellness. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and has extensive knowledge in the areas of chronic illnesses and mental health.  Her experiences with the frail elderly and multiple health issues have led her to focus on nutrition, a field that improves quality and vibrancy of life.

In addition to her clinical background, Wendy is an educator and motivator. She communicates her passion for nutrition and love of teaching in classes for corporate wellness programs, organizations and the community.  In leadership positions, Wendy has empowered staff by giving them the information, strategies and tools to effectively deliver the best care.

Nutrition helped Wendy lose 55 lbs, heal her Gastric Reflux Disease, and manage cravings, stress, depression and job burnout.  While food used to “run her life,” Wendy now makes healthy choices and lives a lifestyle that fully supports her health and well- being.

At age 38, I had such anxiety, fatigue and muscle pain that I felt like I was in a dark hole and couldn’t find my way out. I worried that if I felt like this at 38, how would I feel when I’m 70? After an individual consultation, Wendy created an eating plan that completely worked for me. In one year, I went from feeling desperate to feeling healthy and was able to get off most of my medications. Sure, it takes work and self discipline, but what’s your health worth? Unless you look at how you eat, you don’t get to the core of the issue. The issue is simple: change how you eat. –Kristy
