Open Position: Nutritionist/Dietitian

Why did you want to become a dietitian? Was it when you noticed how foods effected your health? Or maybe it was a family member’s health that motivated you? Did you want to learn everything about nutrition so you could help others feel better and stay healthy by choosing the right foods? Are you looking for a job that gives you the opportunity to work with people one-on-one to problem solve so they can feel their best? Afterall, that was what you dreamt before starting school, right?

At Nutritional Weight & Wellness we provide client-focused nutrition therapy. Our approach is based on eating a balanced amount of animal protein, healthy fats, and whole food carbohydrates. We take the time necessary to help clients succeed and we value building that supportive relationship for navigating lifestyle changes. We help change lives through the power of real food.

If you share this approach and want to make a big impact too, then we want to talk with you. We are currently looking to add an experienced full-time licensed nutritionist or dietitian at our North Oaks/Shoreview office.

What you can expect at Nutritional Weight & Wellness

  • We work as a team. Training and support by fellow dietitians are ongoing and collaborative.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing one-on-one nutrition therapy to improve the health of our clients by guiding and problem solving through individual consultations and, when appropriate, recommending supplements.
  • Researching and writing articles.
  • Participating in our Dishing Up Nutrition radio show and podcast.

Qualifications:

  • A Licensed Nutritionist or Registered Dietitian
  • Experience in therapeutic nutrition, at least 5 years is required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Variety of life experiences a plus

Requirements:

  • Willingness to work and contribute as part of a team
  • Able to work a schedule that includes some evenings until 8:00 p.m. and two Saturdays per month.
  • A well-balanced, energetic, positive person
  • Easily connects with all types of people
  • Passionate about nutrition and real food and who wants to share that passion with others
