Oatmeal Almond Balls Recipe

Makes 20 balls | Serving size 1-2 balls | Gluten-free 

Step 1

2 cups gluten-free oats
7 scoops NutriKey Wellness Whey Protein(natural, chocolate, or vanilla all work well)
1 tsp sea salt
3 Tbsp chopped almonds
¼ cup dried fruit of your choice (cherries work well)
1 scoop NutriKey Key Greens & Fruits - Chocolate (optional)

Step 2

½ cup plus 2 Tbsp water
3 Tbsp almond butter
1 Tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract 

Step 3

½ cup chopped almonds OR unsweetened coconut 1 tsp per ball

Directions:

  1. Place dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well to combine.
  2. Add wet ingredients to bowl with dry ingredients and mix well to combine. (Add extra tsp of water at a time if not combing well.) 
  3. Roll mixture into 20 balls using hands or a small scooper. Dip each ball into 1 tsp chopped nuts or coconut and refrigerate for an hour to let mixture set.
