Teresa Wagner, RD, LD

bios_teresa_wagner_large.jpgAs a mother of three children and avid runner, Teresa knows that good nutrition is essential for energy and well-being. She also sees first-hand the impact food choices have on her children’s behavior, moods and happiness. In the past, Teresa ate very low fat which left her hungry all the time and constantly reaching for her next snack. She often felt she lacked self-control around food. Now she can see her food issues stemmed from the constant ups and downs of her blood sugar, not a lack of will power. Since eating in balance, Teresa is in control and feels satisfied after meals and snacks. Her joints are supported during long runs because she consumes plenty of healthy fats. Her balanced eating has also resulted in less anxiety. She still thinks about food a lot, but because it’s her job and passion, not because she’s obsessing about what her next meal will be. Teresa has experienced the life-changing effects of a real food diet herself and looks forward to putting her expertise to work for you to find the nutrition answers that can make a difference in your health and quality of life.

"We only have this one life to live. Let's do what we can, to feel the best we can, for as long as we can."
