Nutrition Counseling for Your Body, Your Health History, Your Goals

Work one on one (virtually) with a Nutritional Weight & Wellness nutritionist or dietitian to uncover a healthier future.

Imagine...

  • A calm, focused brain instead of a whirling and anxious one.
  • Finally revving up your metabolism after years of confusing diets and frustration.
  • A restful night’s sleep, feeling energized and ready to tackle the day without a foggy, tired brain or body.
  • Feeling calm about a day out, without having to know the location of every bathroom in town.
  • Training for a marathon, or playing with the grandkids, without the achy back or knees.
  • Thriving despite a chronic condition, not just managing it.
  • Enjoying a day free from all consuming cravings and their hold over you.
  • Your mood and demeanor no longer being at the whim of your hormones.

Imagine feeling like the you of your dreams

Your Body and Health Goals Are Unique to You

Have you ever left a medical appointment wondering if they heard a word you said? Or you left more confused than when you walked in?

Did you feel so rushed you never had a chance to ask your questions? Maybe you feel like they’re just treating symptoms, but never answered why this is happening in the first place?

Not here.

Our dietitians and nutritionists take the time to really listen. In fact, the initial assessment is one and a half hours long … so they have time to do just that. They want to fully understand your health history before preparing a personalized plan.

A plan perfect for the one unique you .
A plan for your lifestyle.
A plan with real foods that you enjoy (no Brussels sprouts required, unless you love them).

Our dietitians and nutritionists want to hear it ALL. They want to understand your body’s clues and signals … like muscle aches, fatigue, trouble sleeping, digestive issues, white spots on your nails or brain fog … these are all signals and important clues to help them problem-solve.

Together we’ll strive to get to the root causes of your health issues … FINALLY.

This is not a one-plan-fits-all approach.

If you have chronic pain, you need a plan for you, not for a marathon runner. If you have digestive problems, it’s not the same plan as someone struggling with infertility.

No matter your goal or health issues or timeline, we can help!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer phone or video appointments?

Yes! Currently due to COVID-19, all of our appointments have moved virtually, available via phone or video on Zoom. Our clients let us know how they like and appreciate the flexibility and convenience that phone and video appointments offer. Plus, it saves them time from driving to and from our locations. Pandemic or not, we think that virtual appointments with our nutritionists will help you accomplish your goals – at a time and place that’s most convenient for you. So, no matter where you live, or how busy your schedule is, we can still connect.

Note: Phone appointments are not covered by insurance, but video appointments may be covered. For more information go to Insurance Coverage for Nutrition Counseling.

does insurance cover nutrition counseling?

Insurance may cover your nutrition counseling, depending on your health plan. For more information go to Insurance Coverage for Nutrition Counseling.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Absolutely not. You are free to come and go as it fits for your life. We know from experience that return consultations are best for continued support and success (and because it’s the most cost-effective choice for you), but you and your nutritionist will decide the best course of action to meet your goals.

Do I need to buy packaged food or supplements from you?

No! The foods our team recommend are the kinds your grandparents ate, and theirs before them – real food – the kind that comes without a package and a label to decipher. Depending on your health, supplements may be recommended (but not required) to rebalance your biochemistry, help you stick to a healthy eating plan, or give you extra nutritional support. But again, they are not required

What should I expect?

We get this question a lot, and we understand that nutrition counseling is new to many people! Plus, what do you talk about for one and a half hours? Read on for what to expect prior to your consultation and during it.

What to expect prior to your consultation

  • You will complete a health history and nutrition questionnaire so your nutritionist has a thorough understanding of your health challenges and goals.

What to expect during your initial consultation

  • You and your nutritionist will go over your health history questionnaire to set goals based on what’s most important to you.
  • You will have plenty of time to ask questions and discuss your health goals and concerns.
  • You will learn how foods affect your health and well-being and why certain foods are important to include in your diet.
  • You will receive a realistic, personalized eating plan, along with recipes and suggestions for meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Your nutritionist will work with you to find practical ways  to implement our real-food approach to eating.
  • Enjoy 10% off supplements the day of your counseling appointment. Depending on your health, supplements may be recommended (but not required) to rebalance your biochemistry, help you follow a healthy eating plan, or give you nutritional support.

Trust us, the appointment time flies by, and you will leave feeling like no stone was left unturned, and knowing you finally have the advocate and resources you’ve been looking for.
