While I haven't struggled with a lot of health issues, I have been overweight my entire life. I tried all of the fad diets and lost weight but gained it back and then some. Four years ago, I had my hip replaced due to arthritis and recently I started noticing that my knees ached when I went up the stairs.

I lost 32 pounds in the class and an additional 12 pounds since the class ended*. Physically I feel better and mentally I feel better knowing I am treating my body better. The class taught me that I deserve to eat good food and if I do, my body will treat me better!
