virtual-cooking-class.jpgWhat’s our number one piece of advice for better sleep, better weight loss, better hormone balance, better moods (and the list is truly endless)? It all comes down to the same tip … cooking real food at home. While many think of cooking as a hobby, it’s really a life-skill that takes practice. If you’re daunted by the “practice” required, fear not. We know that healthy homemade food is often easier said than done, which is why we created our first-ever virtual cooking class covering a variety of topics!

Each class is designed to help you build confidence in the kitchen and take control of your health. Classes are all $25 and are offered virtually a handful of times a month. Pick a topic (or topics!) that interest your style of cooking and get inspired! Classes are held demonstration style, so come with your glass of water or mug of tea and sit back, bring your questions, and be ready to have some fun and get inspired!

Here’s the rundown on the upcoming classes, to enroll click on each title and scroll down to your preferred class.

More about Chef Marianne

You likely noticed Chef and culinary nutrition educator Marianne Jurayj’s name listed above and we’d love to introduce you to the cook in the kitchen. Marianne is the founder and chef behind The Cook’s Cure, a cooking and teaching service that is best described as “your personal trainer in the kitchen, providing culinary organization, planning and skills education to help you reach your health goals”. Marianne works with Nutritional Weight & Wellness on classes, recipe development and customer service. Marianne is so passionate about cooking for health, that after twenty-five years in restaurant kitchens and with an award-winning catering company, she changed course and began to share her passion for nutrient-dense foods through private cooking and coaching clients. Marianne is certified in Food Management/Safety and Nutrigenomics.

We hope you join us virtually for one of our upcoming classes! As Marianne is apt to say “Cook someone a meal and they will eat for the day. Teach someone to cook and they will thrive for a lifetime.”
