Chocolate Fruit Bars Recipe

Makes 6 servings | Gluten free and dairy free

Step 1

1 c. walnuts, peanuts, almonds or cashews (sunflower seeds for nut allergic)
1 1/3 c. pitted dates (make sure they are soft and fresh)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
4 tbsp Nutrikey Wellness Whey Protein Powder, Chocolate (can also use Dynamic Paleo Protein, chocolate)
1/8 tsp salt (optional)
½ cup mini dark chocolate chips (optional, but if including, Enjoy Life is a great brand to avoid allergens)


  1. Blend all the ingredients, using a food processor or strong blender, you might have to add up to 1 Tbsp water.
  2. Form into bars. For ease put dough in a plastic bag and close the bag, then shape into a bar.
  3. Wrap the bars in wax paper, keep in refrigerator until ready to grab and go.
