Green Beans with Creamy Garlic Recipe



Makes 8 servings | Gluten free

2 lbs. fresh green beans
3 T. butter
2 T. minced garlic
1/3 c. chopped green onions, (about 2-3 green onions)
¼ tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 c. cream
½ c. sliced almonds-toasted until golden (for garnish)


  1. Trim ends from beans.
  2. Fill pot with ½ inch of water, bring to a boil. Add green beans to boiling water and cover. Cook for 4-6 minutes turning occasionally. The beans should be a brilliant green color.
  3. Heat butter in sauté pan. Add garlic and onions and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 7 minutes to reduce cream slightly.
  4. Toss green beans with sauce before serving. Sprinkle with toasted sliced almond.
